For PROCLADE Internazionale, advocacy represents a fundamental dimension of its work for the promotion of social justice and integral human development.
Proclade Internazionale ETS is an organisation with consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and as such contributes to international discussions and proposals on the major social, environmental and humanitarian issues of our time.
This activity is carried out mainly through the work of the Claretian Missionaries (CMF) team at the United Nations, with a presence in New York and Nairobi, where actions of representation, dialogue, and awareness-raising are developed at the international level.
The objective is to give a voice to local realities and the most vulnerable communities within global decision-making spaces, fostering advocacy processes that contribute to the protection of human rights, the promotion of human dignity, and the construction of more just and inclusive societies.
Advocacy is grounded in a constant connection with local communities: local experiences and challenges become elements for reflection and proposals within international contexts, while global dynamics are brought back to the local level in order to strengthen the awareness and action of communities.
In this way, PROCLADE Internazionale helps to build a bridge between the local and the global levels, promoting broader participation and a greater impact of development initiatives.
